News Update for the Advanced Technology Applications for Combat Casualty Care (ATACCC) Conference St. Petersburg 15-17 Aug 2005

The conference aim:

To examine lessons learnt, advances in trauma care and the requirements of the servicemen and women in the modern combat theatre. Together with how the latest technology can aid preserve and help save lives in the unique and convoluted scenarios we serve in today.


The conference was opened by Col Bob Vandre, Director, US Army Combat Casualty Care Research Program. There were 482 registered delegates coming from the United States of America, Canada, China, United Kingdom, S. Africa, Switzerland, Norway, Holland and Denmark. Due to the high demand the exhibition area was extended to accommodate 68 exhibitors.


The Collie Clip with its unique multifunctional capabilities was very well received by all who came to the stand. Due to its physical qualities (10.5 x 7.6 x 3.0 cm; 140 grams) it maybe easily packed & transported to the point of use or included in existing trauma kits or modules.
